IPL 2026 Auction LIVE Updates: The accelerated Round 1 of the IPL 2026 auction has ended. Teams have now been asked to submit a list of 4-6 players for Round 2 of the accelerated auction. In the accelerated IPL auction round, Bangladesh’s Mustafizur Rahman went to KKR for Rs 9.2 crore. RCB also picked uncapped Mangesh Yadav for Rs 5.20 crore. Australian Green became the costliest overseas player in the history of the IPL. In fact, Green’s bid is a world-record amount for any overseas player in any franchise competition. Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings engaged in an intense bidding war for the Australian, but the Shah Rukh Khan-owned KKR roped in the all-rounder for a whopping Rs 25.20 crore.
